Anuradha is in the field of Integral Education since 1986. She made a conscious choice to shift to Education, based on her work in the Development sector as she realised the key role education can play in building attitudes - the necessary ingredient for any real change. At Mirambika she worked with students (3-13 year olds) as well as teachers, and was involved in various aspects of curriculum design, school administration and development. 

 

At The Gnostic Centre, she has worked as a facilitator, teacher-educator, writer, administrator, resource creator, etc. and has been involved in multiple aspects of the Centre’s work and growth. Her expertise lies in Integral Education and its practical application in the classroom and in the teacher’s own life and practice. 

 

Since 1998, she has been facilitating Self-development sessions for BElEd teacher students of Delhi University. She has worked extensively with teachers from mainstream as well as progressive schools to introduce integral education into school practice.   

 

She has published several articles in the Centre’s journal The Awakening Ray and co-created several of the Centre’s audiovisual resources.

Dr. Vibha Tripathi is a social entrepreneur and a trained physicist. Under her supervision, IIT Kanpur developed expertise in flexible organic solar cells, a unique idea which has a potential to be a disruptive technology. She also guided many students in R&D of solar cells. Vibha left her position at IIT Kanpur to solve problems at grassroot level using the latest technologies. To achieve this, she moved into the start-up world and set up Swajal Water – now known as Boon, a leading water-tech venture. She builds AI + IoT water systems that deliver safe drinking water reliably and help communities and workplaces reduce plastic-bottle dependence. Over the last decade, she has taken water technology from lab research to on-ground impact, guided by a clear standard: profit, ethics, and impact must go together. She hopes that through her work, she will be able to activate and inspire many to join hands and change the water scenario in India.

 

She has received several awards - Best IT and Innovation Award 2017 - TiECon Summit, and the IoT India Congress Start up Awards 2017. In particular, she was awarded by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, for her work as “Champion of change”. 

 

Outside of work, she enjoys writing, painting, trekking, and running. As a Resource Faculty for Science, she brings rigorous academic thinking to everyday challenges and inspires students to use curiosity, science, and integrity to solve meaningful problems.

Roohi Kapur is an Expressive Arts Therapist with accreditation from UNESCO. She is an art enthusiast, and a published poet (‘Ephemeral Musings’). Her paintings have been exhibited at AIFACS Art Gallery and Stainless Art Gallery. 

 

She has worked with schools, corporates, young adults and adults internationally, and with young adults in the neuro-diverse spectrum as a trainer and designed the workshops. She has worked in South America with Up With People, a global organisation, facilitating international students on leadership, life skills, creative confidence, social actions, life purpose using Expressive Arts techniques in the workshops. She has worked with Apollo Tyres, IMA India, Vasant Valley School, The Sri Ram School, The Gnostic Centre, Pedal On, as a facilitator for Workshops designed by her and her team. 

 

She brings to the fore excellent communication skills, abilities of storytelling along with arts and crafts. She is a keen observer of life and likes to create interesting pieces of work that build interest and marvel from the magical and imaginative world that young children like to dwell in. Having worked as a trainer for over 18 years she is adapt at facilitating arts and crafts workshops with young adults and children, as she uses art modalities to guide them to explore their own inherent creative and pedagogical abilities, and express and conjure interesting tales that spikes their imagination. Using techniques like voice modulations, puppeteer and creative story telling with arts she builds an unique bond with each child. Being an avid listener, she takes keen interest in the child’s need to express through art and takes each individual child through a creative journey to express themselves with varied projects in arts and crafts.

Jyoti's expertise is in Architecture and Interior Design. For over three decades, she has been shaping homes and boutique spaces across Delhi NCR and various parts of India with sensitivity, depth, and quiet sophistication. Her work is guided by the belief that good design is not just created — it evolves through dialogue, trust, and thoughtful collaboration with clients. She brings not only technical expertise but also intuition, patience, and a deep respect for the process of building. Her work reflects a commitment to detail, authenticity, and the creation of spaces that are timeless, personal, and soulful.

 

Her strength lies in seamlessly integrating architecture and interiors, creating cohesive environments that feel complete and resolved. She has a particular love for art, artefacts, and the richness of Indian craftsmanship. Her interests include art, sculpture and travel.

Nishi Jauhar is a passionate educator who believes that teaching is a journey of continuous learning, guided deeply by children and the environments she works in. With a strong foundation in Child Development and Education from Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia, and enriching experiences with Mirambika and Project Zero, Harvard University, her understanding of how children think and learn has grown with every interaction.

 

She sees every classroom as a living space of discovery—where children, teachers and even everyday moments become her greatest teachers. Her work is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each child’s voice and potential. Nishi continues to learn from the questions children ask, the challenges schools face, and the diverse cultures she engages with across India, the UAE and the Philippines.

 

Known for her warm presence and genuine love for children, she strives to create learning spaces filled with trust, joy and meaning. For her, education is not just about methods and systems, but about nurturing hearts, minds and lifelong learners — starting with herself.

Ameeta heads The Gnostic Centre as well as India’s leading stud farm – Usha Stud group of farms, of which she is the Chairman and Managing Director.

 

Ameeta went through an intensive study of Integral Yoga (of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother) for 12 years (1988-2000), under the guidance of Dr. Nirodbaran (literary secretary of Sri Aurobindo). She facilitates courses in Consciousness Studies, Integral Yoga, Future Studies, Integral Education and Self-development. She is a published writer and speaker.

 

During her leadership, the Usha Stud has won 7 Indian Derbies Group 1 and 134 Group 1 races in India. She has the distinction of being the First lady Stipendiary Steward of India (Delhi Race Club) and the youngest Governing Board member nominated by the Government of India for Auroville Foundation – serving 3 consecutive terms. She has won the Champion Breeder of India award 6 times, and received the Outlook Business Women of Worth Award 2017.   

 

Her hobbies include tennis, composing music and singing (with training in Western as well as Indian classical music).

A High Court advocate, Ritika coordinates The Gnostic Centre’s functioning and oversees L’avenir school's growth. Responsible for the Centre’s legal and financial well-being, she also coordinates the Centre’s journal ‘The Awakening Ray’. Culinary Art, Green Practices, Social Change are her abiding interests. Ritika facilitates sessions on collecting and cooking with indigenous herbs (at the Centre's Himalayan campus – The Monk's Retreat). She is also on the Governing Council of Shikshantar school.
